When we returned to Edinburgh, we gathered for a fancy group dinner, and then I was the first to leave early the next morning.  It was really hard to say goodbye, both to the new friends and to the beautiful country we had come to know.

But we got to see some of them at the reunion!  In January 2017 we went down to Edmonds (a bit of a journey, but not too bad) for the Rick Steves Reunion.  We saw Brian our tour guide in the morning, and Carrie, Jennifer, Mary, and Janet in the evening.  This tour ended up being such an important part of my life so far, so it was incredible being able to again see the people who were a part of it.
